Several highways leading tothe South African cities ofCape Town, Pretoria and Johannesburg have been blockedwithtraffic jams by several trucks belonging to white farmers and their supporter, who organised the protest.

Supporterswere urged to wearblack during the protest.

Organisers of the protestfrom Stellenbosch to Cape Town said that it was not just about farm murders, but was for all people who were murdered in the country each year.

Protesters have been alerted by Police Minister Fikile Mbalulato be calm, notifyingthat there would be consequences against anyonewho threatened to hinder traffic onroads with trucks and tractors.
