WION Exclusive: Nikhat Zareen reflects on her World Championship Title

25-year-old Nikhat Zareen ended Indian boxing's four year wait for a world title by winning the 52kg gold at the World Championships in Istanbul. Zareen's win puts her in contention for a medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She told WION Sports Editor Digvijay Singh Deo that she intends to go down a weight division and compete in the 50kg category.
