The first meeting of G20 Finance Ministers in Bengaluru under India's G20 presidency were unable to agree on a joint statement condemning Russia for its war in Ukraine, with China and Russia itself declining to sign. The lack of consensus among G20 members meant India resorting to issuing a chair's summary and outcome document.
