US Vice President J.D. Vance and NSA Mike Waltz are expected to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to unveil the India-US Trust Initiative, first announced after the Modi-Trump talks in March. The high-level visit is aimed at boosting cooperation in semiconductors, telecom, defence, and critical minerals, amid global unease over Trump’s tariff plans.
