A video from the Independence Day celebrations in the Mungeli district of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh has gone viral showing the superintendent of police (SP) releasing a pigeon into the air, but it dropped to the ground instead of flying. The video gained attention due to its striking resemblance to a famous scene from the third season of the television series 'Panchayat', in which a pigeon released by the local MLA also suddenly drops dead, leaving netizens in splits.
