Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has hit back at US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s claim involving 130 million barrels, presenting what he called Washington’s “real 130s.” Ghalibaf cited estimates of more than $130 billion in costs to US households from the Iran war, claimed Jane Street lost over $130 million shorting oil, and pointed to rising US Treasury yields.
