US condemns attack on US embassy in Baghdad

The attack is the first to be confirmed on the U.S. Embassy since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war. It's located in Baghdad’s heavily fortified green zone, which houses Iraqi government buildings and embassies, on the west bank of the Tigris river.
