British Prime Minister Keir Starmer described the actions as “reckless,” while a sailor aboard the nearby yacht called the move “completely unnecessary.” Although UK officials said the shots were not aimed directly at the vessel, the episode has reignited concerns over maritime security and military activity in one of the world’s busiest waterways.
