TikTok must have known they were in for a grilling. In anticipation of CEO Shou Zi Chew’s Thursday appearance before a House committee, more than 20 TikTok influencers flocked to the hallowed halls of Congress this week, as the Chinese company amped up its lobbying effort against a proposed ban on the app in the United States.
