Thailand's Ministry of Public Health received the first batch of cannabis oil to be distributed to hospital patients on Wednesday, kickstarting the first official use of medical marijuana since a law legalizing it came into effect this year. The Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) on Wednesday delivered 4,500 5 ml bottles of cannabis oil to the Ministry of Public Health to be distributed to hospitals for about 4,000 registered patients. Another 2,000 bottles will be gradually delivered in the following month.
