This new track and trace technology may help to identify tumour spread in breast cancer patients. Doctors at London's St Georges Hospital are using this technology. Doctors are using a whole system called Endomag. Surgeons remove primary breast tumour through surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. Then doctors check whether cancer has been treated or if it has spread. Doctors use a magnetic liquid tracer, magtrace, to follow this process.
