Sri Lankan president emphasises on importance of economic recovery
In order to prevent anarchy, President Ranil Wickremesinghe vowed to maintain law and order while placing a priority on the nation's economic recovery. Before the end of the year, the President promised to revive the economy and construct a functioning democratic society. He also made mention of 2024 Pesidential elections.
