On 30 Sept, South Korean regulators praised productive discussions with messaging app Telegram amid the country's deep-fake porn crisis. In August, media and authorities uncovered a widespread network of Telegram chatrooms, often based in schools and universities, where users shared AI-generated deep-fake porn featuring female students and staff.
