US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are set to tackle trade, rare earths, chips, Taiwan and AI risks at their high-stakes summit in Washington. But questions remain over whether Taiwan, human rights and domestic political issues will be discussed as both sides seek to extend their fragile trade truce.
