South India: Study warns Tamil Nadu, Kerala coasts over climate change

A new study warns that Tamil Nadu and Kerala's coastlines could face severe climate risks over the next 15 years due to rising sea levels, heatwaves, coastal erosion and saltwater intrusion. Researchers say stronger adaptation measures are urgently needed to protect coastal communities, fisheries, agriculture and critical infrastructure.
