The Supreme Court on Tuesday condemned the Defence Colony Welfare Association (DCWA) for unlawfully occupying the Gumti of Shaikh Ali, a tomb dating back to the Lodhi era, in Delhi’s Defence Colony. The court also criticized the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for its failure to prevent the encroachment.
