Far-right Romanian politician Călin Georgescu has been officially barred from contesting the elections after losing his appeal. Georgescu, who won the first round of last year’s presidential vote, was accused of benefiting from Russian interference. As the country prepares for a re-run, he urges his supporters to back another candidate.
