Record orders show India's rise as aviation superpower

India continued to steal the show on Tuesday as Air India completed an enormous order for 470 planes from Airbus and Boeing. Both Indigo and Air India have placed orders for nearly a thousand planes in the hopes of expanding their international market share. They expect rising demand for domestic flights brought on by India's booming economy and expanding middle class.
