Donald Trump's top envoy, Steve Witkoff, has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin prayed for the then-presidential candidate after he was shot last year during his campaign. Witkoff has visited Moscow twice to hash out the terms of a ceasefire with Ukraine. He has now told Fox News that during his second meeting with Putin, the Russian president recounted his reaction to the attempted assassination of Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania.
