A square called "Good Maharaja Square" or "dobrego maharadzy" is located in the heart of Warsaw, the Polish capital. The Square has a strong Indian connection and pays tribute to Jam Saheb Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji Jadeja from Nawanagar, Gujarat. He was popularly known as the "Good Maharaja" in Poland and played a key role during World War II by providing sanctuary to over a thousand Polish youngsters.
