Plymouth prepares for 400th Mayflower anniversary
400 years ago on Wednesday, 102 pilgrims boarded the Mayflower in Plymouth, England, and sailed to a new life in America. Adrian Vinken, chairman of the Mayflower 400 National Compact, described the trip as "arguably the most influential sea voyage in global maritime history".
