A massive controversy has gripped Pakistan’s political establishment following the arrest of Muhammad Raza Dar, a relative (identified in reports as a grandson) of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. Raza Dar is one of four suspects currently in police custody in connection with the alleged kidnapping, gang rape, and extortion of two foreign nationals in Lahore.
