It's been over 200 days since the war began in Ukraine. Recently, Russia escalated its offensive and Moscow has been firing a barrage of missiles in Ukraine's towns and cities. But on Friday, in a surprise development, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that there is no need for new strikes on Ukraine and that Russia's aim is not to destroy Ukraine.
