French President Emmanuel Macron and Chinese President Xi Jinping have said they are opposed to the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Macron said on Wednesday that China had a “major role” to play in finding a path to peace in Ukraine, as he kicked off a three-day visit to Beijing.
