New US ambassador to India presents his credentials to Indian President Draupadi Murmu

The new US Ambassador Eric Garcetti presented his credentials to the Indian President Draupadi Murmu ending the longest period since US has gone without an ambassador to India. He has taken up the position which was vacant since January 2021. Garcetti, was originally nominated by US President Joe Biden in July 2021.
