A jewellery company from Surat has sent its lotus-shaped lab-grown diamond creation into space aboard Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 orbital rocket. Crafted over six months using 32 lab-grown diamonds, the unique design marks the first time diamonds from India's diamond hub have reached orbit, highlighting both India's innovation in luxury craftsmanship and the growing capabilities of its private space sector.
