Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman admitted that the Pakistani government had lost control in Balochistan province. In a veiled dig at Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir's political meddling, he dared military personnel to retire and contest elections, which he claimed would expose the ground support for the Army.
