Macron was seen jogging alongside legendary marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge, while leaders including William Ruto and Bassirou Diomaye Faye kicked footballs around with local youth. The summit highlighted how sports are increasingly being used as a tool to connect with younger generations across Africa.
