Kenya: Malaria vaccine gives thousands a hope for better life

Malaria endemic in western Kenya has received a new vaccine against Malaria, which kills around 260 000 children under 5 every year in Sub-Saharan Africa. The groundbreaking drug was 30 years in the making, and a pilot program has been rolling out the drug in Kenya, Ghana, and Malawi since 2019.
