Protests and demonstrations have erupted around the world following the widening Israel-Iran war and especially after the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a joint U.S.–Israeli strike. In countries like Pakistan, Iraq, India and beyond, crowds have taken to the streets to condemn the attacks, mourn Khamenei’s death and criticise U.S. and Israeli actions, with some clashes turning violent and authorities imposing curfews to restore order.
