A lot of misinformation is being circulated regarding Amar Jawan Jyoti’s flame. It is not getting extinguished but will be merged with National War Memorial's torch. For over 50 years, the flame has been burning. Amar Jawan Jyoti was lit in 1972 in memory of soldiers killed in 1971 war with Pakistan.
