Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in recent US-Israeli strikes, will be buried in his hometown of Mashhad, Iranian state media report. Mashhad — one of the country’s holiest cities and home to the revered Imam Reza shrine — is where Khamenei was born and where his father is also buried.
