Iran was prepared to launch strikes on three locations in Ukraine after an alleged attack on an Iranian vessel in the Volga River, according to Mohsen Rezaei, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader. Rezaei claimed Tehran reconsidered its response after Ukraine reportedly described the incident as a mistake.
