India Seeks Producer-consumer Talks to Curb Oil Price Surge

India’s oil minister, Hardeep Singh Puri, has urged oil producers and consumers to come together to stabilise global oil prices. This comes as the world’s third-largest oil consumer is heavily dependent on overseas oil purchases for more than 80% of its supply.
