India Launches Nationwide Overhaul of Voter Rolls Ahead of 2025 Elections

The Election Commission of India has initiated a massive three-month nationwide overhaul of voter rolls called the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) to update electoral data, remove duplicate entries, and prevent illegal voting.
