India: Govt withdraws interest rate cut order on PPF

The Govt of India in its latest announcement withdraws its decision of slashing down interest rates on Public Provident Fund and on other schemes. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday through her official Twitter handle announces 'Interest rates of small savings schemes of GoI shall continue to be at the rates which existed in the last quarter of 2020-2021'.
