India-Europe ties: India, EU agree on 5-year MFN status

India and the European union have agreed, in a draft trade deal, to grant each other ‘most favoured nation’ status for five years once the pact takes effect. This comes as part of a much-anticipated free trade agreement between new Delhi and brussels.
