Goa Club Fire: Following the tragic fire at a nightclub in Goa that claimed 25 lives, a PIL has been filed in the Bombay High Court, accusing authorities of systemic failure in enforcing fire safety norms and allowing illegal operations. The plea urges the court to set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the incident and calls for a statewide fire safety audit, as well as the demolition of unlicensed venues.
