The G7 Summit in France has begun against a backdrop of growing global tensions, with the Gaza crisis emerging as a major flashpoint. Protesters, including activists from Oxfam, have accused world leaders of failing to adequately address the humanitarian situation in Gaza. At the same time, discussions on international security, trade and diplomacy are taking centre stage, with US President Donald Trump backing an understanding with Iran. Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined fellow leaders as the summit focused on some of the world's most pressing challenges.
