Football legend Diego Maradona laid to rest in Bella Vista cemetery

Football legend Diego Maradona was buried on the outskirts of Buenos Aires alongside his parents in a private ceremony attended by only close friends and family. Maradona was not just a footballing superstar in Argentina, he was also the country's greatest icon. Fans thronged the Presidential Palace for a last glimpse of their hero and then lined the road to the Bella Vista cemetery for the legend's final journey.
