Facebook is developing a new project called EGO 4D which is a long term 'AI' project. The new machine learning project has one aim, i.e., to teach 'AI' how to understand the world - but through a first-person perspective. The EGO-4D project involves a consortium of researchers who are spread across 13 universities and labs in nine countries.
