Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has announced plans to ban social media use for children under 15, citing a surge in anxiety, depression, and attention issues. She called smartphones a "monster" unleashed on children, warning they are losing their childhood to screens. The proposed law would allow some parental exceptions from age 13, and follows similar moves by Australia and Norway.
