Delhi chokes under blanket of hazardous smog

Residents in New Delhi struggled to breathe on Wednesday as the Indian capital continued to remain under a thick blanket of smog. The US embassy said PM 2.5 levels in Delhi had soared to 367 at 6 a.m. That would put the pollution at hazardous levels and pose a serious health risk to residents.
