COP28: Iraq, Saudi Arabia fiercely oppose fossil fuel phase out at Summit

A top OPEC official has urged member countries to oppose any deal that targets fossil fuels at COP28. Secretary-general Haitham Al Ghais said that producers should (quote unquote) "Proactively reject any text or formula that targets energy".
