Global collaboration is the key to conducting counter-terrorism in the Middle East following the reported death of the leader of the Islamic State (IS) group, while finding a coordinated international approach to combating terrorism which avoids the errors made in previous policy decisions of Western countries is crucial to addressing the issue, according to a China Media Group (CMG) commentary published on Tuesday.
