Civilian deaths in Tirah: KP lawmakers demand answers as Pakistan remains silent
As reports emerged of at least 25 civilians killed in alleged aerial bombings in the Tirah valley, questions are being raised about the silence of the Pakistani state. In a rare move, lawmakers in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly — including CM’s aide Mohammad Sohail Afridi — have publicly condemned the strikes, calling them a massacre of innocent tribesmen, including women and children.
