Director Christopher Nolan has revealed why he decided to leave out one of Homer's oldest jokes while adapting The Odyssey for the big screen. Nolan explained that the 3,000-year-old Greek pun involving Odysseus' famous "Nobody" trick did not translate well to modern cinema, despite being one of the epic's most iconic moments.
