Cauvery Water Dispute: CWMA directs Karnataka to release water to Tamil Nadu

The CWMA has directed Karnataka to release 3,500 cusecs of Cauvery water daily to Tamil Nadu for 15 days. In response, Karnataka has called an all-party meeting, while pro-Kannada groups have announced a statewide bandh on August 13.
