Bugatti Tourbillion is inspired by a Swiss watch mechanism
Here's the Bugatti Chiron successor - the Tourbillion, named after a Swiss watch mechanism. It becomes the first Bugatti to get the Cosworth-developed, 8.3-litre engine that revs to 9,500rpm and makes 1,000bhp without any turbochargers. Then it has a front e-axle with two electric motors, and a 25kWh centrally-mounted battery pack, adding 800 horsepower to the mix. With a combined output of 1,800bhp, the Tourbillon goes to 100kmph in just 2 seconds. Under full throttle, it crosses the 200kmph mark in around 5 seconds and reaches its electronically-limited top speed of 380kmph in less than 25 seconds. Bugatti is also offering an optional Speed Key to unlock the full potential of the Tourbillion. So, let's check out how fast it can go without the restriction.
