Bolivia's political crisis has intensified as protesters demanding President Rodrigo Paz's resignation clashed with police in the city of Cochabamba. Demonstrators threw stones, sticks and firecrackers, while security forces responded with tear gas and arrests. The unrest comes after Paz signed a law that critics say could enable a tougher crackdown on anti-government protests. With road blockades entering their fifth week, shortages of fuel, food and medical supplies are worsening, raising concerns about stability across the country.
